Remember us 10 years in existence
Remember us celebrated their 10th Anniversary in October in the Bracken Court Hotel. Over 240 members, their families and invited guests attend on the day.
Singer Linda Martin was the special guest and she helped the young people cut the birthday cake.
The first half of the day saw the members demonstrate some of the activities they learn through the club and Nora gave a brief overview of the organisation and also thanked the many people who have supported/funded the group over the years.
With food, fun and dancing for adults and young people alike a great time was had by all!! Here’s to the next 10!!!!!!!!!

Remember us secured 1st Staff Member
Remember us were successful in seeking funding to hire their first staff member. A big thank you to the Department of Education & Science Youth Affairs section.
Remember us wins Town Council Award
At the Balbriggan Town Council's awards ceremony in the Bracken Court Hotel, Remember us was awarded the Town Council's Special Award for serving the special needs young people of Balbriggan and on the occasion of their 10th Anniversary
Remember us wins AIB Better Ireland award in Balbriggan
The group won €10,000 in the AIB Better Ireland Programme. A big thank you to AIB from all at Remember us!!!!!
Remember us wins National Federation of Arch’s Junior Mask making competition
The 4 – 13 section of the club won the Perpetual Trophy of the National Federation of Arch clubs mask making competition at the Annual Junior Party. Well done all!!!!!
Remember us wins another community award
The Redeemed Christian Church of God awarded the group the Community development award at an awards ceremony in December
More respite breaks for families
Due to funding received from HSE Remember us were able to provide the following
2 family respite weekends
Parents respite weekend
3 days per week X7 week Summer programme

ACHIEVEMENTS 2007
Remember Us secured funding from the Youth Affairs Section of the Department Of Education and Science. This funding has given us the opportuntity to recruit our first full-time Development Officer.
Remember Us also secured a once-off funding contribution from the Health Services Executive (HSE). THis funding will be used to provide various Programmes and Outings.
Remember Us are delighted to announce the extension of the 'Cool Gang' Programme. This group who are aged 14+ now meet three times a week with Programmes and Activities specifically designed for their age group. The other age groups days catering for namely the 4-7 year olds and the 8-13 year olds have also been extended. They also now meet three times a week.
